Although the village of Dobbiaco only has three lifts, it is part of the Alta Val Pusteria which has a total of 28 lifts, 55 kilometres of slopes and a snow guarantee. With excellent cuisine and the opportunity to visit nearby Cortina, it makes and ideal resort to dip your toe in to Italian skiing life. There’s an impressive range of hotels from four-star down to “Gasthof” style and a multitude of self-catering possibilities. All in all, there are nearly 6000 guest beds in the village!
The nearest railway station is San Candido and the nearest airports are Treviso and Venice, both approximately 190 kilometres away.
