A good family ski resort option in Europe is Flaine in France.  This is a very popular choice for parents thanks to the impressive range of activities to keep children entertained, both on and off the mountain.  Some of the facilities available at Flaine include a swimming pool, ice-skating rink, bowling alley, climbing wall and cinema.  There is a crèche which takes children over the age of six months old.  And, there is also a gallery and library for parents to enjoy.

		Les Gets, Portes du Soleil, France Les Gets is an incredible ski area that is truly family-oriented. Mostly geared to beginner and intermediate levels of skiers, the instructors are specially trained to talk to children on their level. Childcare is not only available but affordable at Les Gets.
		Montchavin, Paradiski, France Montchavin is a wonderful resort that values ski families. It is coordinated with La Plagne which makes the actual ski area larger. The varied trails and terrain will keep all levels of skiers busy. The beautiful little village has cobblestone streets that wind their way through the shops. It is truly a great place to experience a family ski holiday.
		Selva, Val Gardena, Italy Although geared mostly to intermediate skiers, this place is so family-friendly that no one should miss it. The people are very cautious when children are about. The fare on the slopes is incredible. You might opt to spend more time eating in the huts than skiing.
		Three Valleys Ski Area, Les Menuires, France Three Valleys is a great ski in and ski out resort area. Child care is available and provided by professional caregivers who have been background checked. The varied trails will keep all family members happy.
		Ascutney Mountain Resort, Ascutney, Vermont, USA The entire family will be happy and stay busy without ever leaving the Ascutney Mountain Resort. Young children will enjoy the Duckling Daycare Camp which is available at a nominal fee. Teens enjoy the afterhours Bumps Center while children will have a blast at the Young Olympians Camp.
