Open 365 days a year The Jever Skihalle at Neuss is Germany's first indoor ski slope, with good snow conditions maintained with a constant temperature of -4 º C. Remarkable the facility has a four-man chairlift and a draglift which services a 300 metres long, 60 metres wide main slope.
The facility has evolved considerably since its opening in 2001 with a fun park that features a changing set of elements such as rails, boxes, and kickers, opportunities for sledding on the toboggan run, indoor rock climbing and Germany’s largest outdoor Climbing Park. The ski school has 300 qualified ski and snowboard instructors and there is a fully stocked rental shop and a choice of seven bars and restaurants. Don’t be fooled in thinking this is just a beginner’s resort, it is the official national base of the German Ski Association, the training base of the German national ski team and the official training camp of the German Ski Trainers Association.
