Royal George, in California is North America’s largest cross-country ski resort with over 195 kilometres of prepared cross-country trails. It is also only a snowball’s throw away from the famous Sugarbowl alpine ski resort, giving you the opportunity to try your hand at both disciples.
There are a couple of accommodation choices to choose from – The Ice Lakes Lodge and The Rainbow Lodge. The resort runs a range of cross-country programs and lessons for all abilities and even snow shoe walking.
