The Alpine Meadows ski area is located at Tahoe City, CA.  They have 32 runs served by 12 lifts.  They have three terrain parks for those that want to freestyle.  They offer a variety of lessons for any level of skier.   They also offer handicapped skiing.  There is a variety of lodging available along with dining opportunities. 

Add to this their availability of plenty of night time activities and this is one resort with plenty of things to do, even if you have members in your group that are not interested in skiing.  

Although they are a smaller resort they are in a big enough area to allow you to accomplish several vacation sin one trip, making this a well worthwhile vacation spot for any type of vacation.
