Alpine Valley Ski Area is a versatile wonderland for skiers, snowboarders and those that merely like to snow tube. Once you drive across the incredible covered bridge, you enter into a snow-filled world.
Although it is the snowiest spot in the region, Alpine Valley Ski Area has one hundred percent snow making capabilities. They strive to keep every area snow covered from opening day until the last day of the season.
There are eleven runs at Alpine Valley Ski Area. There is one beginner trail. Three trails are available for intermediate level skiers. Because there are six advanced runs and one double black diamond, it makes Alpine Valley Ski Area a great place for experienced skiers.
The ski and snowboard school at Alpine Valley Ski Area has over one hundred accredited instructors. The cost is incredibly inexpensive at $17 USD for an hour long group lesson.
Alpine Valley Ski Area has two terrain parks that are acclaimed to be rated as the best available in the region. The parks are serviced by their own lift which drastically cuts down on wait time. Alpine Valley boasts the largest half pipe in all of Ohio. The tubing hill is very popular among non-skiers and non-boarders. For those who just want to play in the snow, the snow tubing area is tons of fun.
There are many bed and breakfasts and motels, which give the visitor numerous options for lodging. The area restaurants have various types of cuisine. Customers can grab a quick sandwich or have a gourmet meal in the area. The options are many.
