The Angel Fire ski resort is situated in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range in the north of New Mexico . At the Angel Fire resort you have a choice of suites and comfortable rooms that are just a few steps away from the Chile Express chairlift. At Angel Fire you can go Alpine skiing, tube skiing and snowboarding in the terrain park, Lowrider park and Liberation park and the only half pipe in New Mexico is located at the summit of Liberation Park . There is a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and children of all ages are welcomed to the resort set in the beautiful surroundings of New Mexico . You can also enjoy village entertainment and sample whatever the restaurants and bars have on offer as there is a wide choice. |

This area of New Mexico has an annual snowfall of 210 inches and fifty percent snowmaking. The two parks have a total of seventy ski trails or runs of which 26% are designed for beginning skiers, fifty percent of intermediate skiers and the remaining 24% are for advanced skiers. The skiable area of the two parks is 445 acres and there is a vertical drop of just over two thousand feet.
There are seven ski lifts, two carpet, 3 double chairs and 2 high speed quad chairs. There is no night time skiing, for real beginners there are both skiing and snowboarding lessons. The resort also runs a children's program, a women's program and childcare services.
