Angel Fire ski resort, New Mexico, USA

The Angel Fire Ski Resort is situated in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range in northern New Mexico. At the Angel Fire Resort, there is a choice of suites and comfortable rooms. Both are just steps away from the Chile Express chairlift. At Angel Fire, you can go Alpine skiing and snow tubing. You can snowboard at Lowrider Terrain Park and Liberation Terrain Park. The only half-pipe in New Mexico is at the summit of Liberation Park. The resort has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and is family friendly. There are more entertainment options in town.

Angel Fire has an annual snowfall of 210 inches and fifty percent snowmaking. There are seventy ski trails serviced by seven lifts. Half of the trails are ranked for intermediate level skiers. The other runs are split between beginner and advanced skiers. The vertical drop is approximately two thousand feet and there are 445 skiable acres.

Night time skiing is not available at Angel Fire Resort. Lessons are available for both skiers and snowboarders at affordable prices. Childcare services are available at an additional fee.

My experience at Angel Fire was exceptional. It was quite the affordable resort. The staff was very courteous and tolerated children well. Most visitors on holiday at Angel Fire travelled with their families so there were no shenanigans. Should you be planning to rent ski equipment, get to the rental office before they open at 7am. The best equipment leaves quickly. The ski slopes were wonderful. My sons, who are avid skiers, spent the entire weekend snowboarding instead. There were loads of teenagers snowboarding and they made a lot of new friends there. Our room was clean and comfortable, just recently being remodeled. The food in the restaurant was delicious and not to dear. The servers were delightful. Angel Fire is certainly a resort I would recommend for a family ski holiday. Roseann Lahey

At Angel Fire you can go Alpine skiing, tube skiing and snowboarding in the terrain park, Lowrider park and Liberation park and the only half pipe in New Mexico is located at the summit of Liberation Park . There is a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and children of all ages are welcomed to the resort set in the beautiful surroundings of New Mexico .
