Sitting in the Chamonix Valley of France, this area has some great skiing, despite the fact that it only has a few runs. There are 4 each of black, red and blue runs, and then 3 green ones. The downhill pistes are only 30 km in length, and the cross country runs are 43 km. In all, the area has 354 pistes, and most of them are covered with snow during the entire ski season, as they are above the 2,500 m elevation.
The 10 ski lifts give access to the area, and two airport service the area; the Geneva Airport being only around one hour from the resort. A great many hotels and chalets service the area, and some are close to the town center where shops and restaurants offer fine French and Italian cuisine.
