Arosa is a popular summer and Winter Swiss resort. The ski slopes surround the village, with most ending up back in the town. The slopes cater for all levels however, most are for intermediate ability skiing. Beginners are well catered for as well and there is a terrain park with all the extras for the snow boarders. Children are well catered for with the Mickey Mouse Alpine club.
Arosa is very much a resort town so hotels are the main style of accommodation, however you will still find a few family chalets.
The restaurants here have a high reputation for quality and often attract a well heeled clientele.
Arosa is well known to the Swiss as a safe skiing area and has over 60 kilometres of runs.
