The facility is run by the city and not as large as most. Some excellent runs and other sports options make up for its small size. Arrowhead is a great place to visit to enjoy some winter activities.
Arrowhead Ski Area is a small, city owned venue. Although it only has 9 trails, it proved to be a fun day of skiing. There was enough variety to suit everyone for a single day of skiing. We were quite happy that they offered night skiing, which was a pleasant surprise.
All in all, it was a fun time. Affordable prices, friendly people, and decent trails made for a nice time. Roseann Lahey
They not only offer skiing but also offer an ice rink, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and snowmobiling and ATVing, all of this to go along with skiing and snowboarding. They have plenty to do in this area. Although they only offer 5 trails they have a wide range of capabilities. They offer night time skiing and snow tubing. This facility is run by the city and as such is not as large but more memorable than most. It has some excellent runs and with the other capabilities it has is a great place to visit and enjoy some winter activities. Because it is located near the city there is plenty to do if you are not into the winter sports scene. John Gregory
