Azuga is located in the heart of the Buceji Mountains and is home to the longest ski run in
Romania named Sorica.
This resort has two main ski runs in the south eastern part of Azuga served by cable cars including a gondola and a more recent addition called Cazacu is the run next to the base.
The resort has 5km of floodlit pistes and is popular with snowboarders. Azuga is also well known for brewing the famous Azuga beer.
Snowmobiling and cross country skiing are available in the resort which is also ideal for quiet walks around the wooded trails.
