Baisoara is located in the Muntele Mare Mountain range and has 15km of skiable terrain and three intermediate runs. There are two ski lifts in the resort.
Visit the Sarita Bailoara, an unusual natural stone formation thought to look like a fairy citadel . Snowboarding is popular in Baisoara and there are also several trails for cross country skiers in the surrounding countryside.
