The lift is by T-bar. Although small, there is a Ski school that operates out of here but only during school vacations. The nearest city to this ski area would be Waterville.
Baker Mountain has an interesting history in that the first tow row was put in place during the 1930's then eventually the rope topes were replaced with a T-bar. For just some good old plain non hindered skiing this is a great choice.
This is a very beginner friendly mountain. The closest town to the ski is Bingham, small historic town with only about 1200 residents. Interesting to visit. The way this ski resort runs is by people - pass holders, who volunteer their time. Also, during school vacations, there is a ski school. I got my first few skiing lessons there. It was so much fun! I totally loved it! We took some cool pictures there with few buddies. Great for snowboarding, and skiing! It was awesome weather, and good snow. There is only 1 lift, but there were no lines - big plus to be honest. Go and check it out if you are in the area. Silvia Cassidy
Baker Mountain is a small ski area run by volunteers. It is a great hill for beginner and intermediate levels of skiers. There are five trails, two beginner and three intermediate served by a T-bar lift. The small ski school operates during school vacation times. Rohan
Baker Mountain is THE place to ski if you are an expert skier. The mountain is without trails and not for the faint of heart. I had an awesome day there. It was so refreshing to ski a mountain and go wherever I wanted to go.
I highly recommend Baker Mountain to the expert skier that loves danger. This is an awesome place. Roseann Lahey
