Banff is a popular summer resort in Canada; however due to it’s proximity to the nearby ski fields it is a popular destination for skiers. Banff is close to three ski areas, all are accessed by bus from township Canada ski resorts.

Norquay is the closest ski area, with the slopes overlooking Banff.

 

It ’s the most popular ski areas. The three ski areas of Banff are covered by a tri pass. Banff offers spectacular mountain scenery, good snow over a long season and good value accommodation and dining.

There are over one hundred restaurants in and around Banff which cater to all. Budgets of dining. There are also night clubs and pubs to cater for after hours revelers.

There is plenty to do if the snow is light or you want a break from Skiing. Many walks can be accessed from Banff, including ice canyon walks. There is also sledding, snow walking, ice skating. If it’s indoor activity you are after there are many sight seeing tours, museums, natural hot springs, shopping and movies
