Ski reviews

Beaver Creek is a family friendly ski area. It is well manicured and maintained to perfection. The staff is friendly and very talkative. We felt like locals when we visited here. My only regret was that I did not research the trails before booking our family's holiday. There are no expert runs at Beaver Mountain. Most trails are at beginner and intermediate levels. The do have some that are rated advanced but were not very challenging to an expert skier. The area was lovely with many nice restaurants and shops. The disappointment my family felt in no way reflects upon the ski area. It was caused by my lack of research when listening to recommendations of an intermediate skiing level friend. Roseann Lahey

Beaver Creek offers great vacation rentals for everyone with a concierge service and optional grocery delivery service. The Beaver Creek Inn offers accommodation to both skiers and snowboarders the Inn is large enough to accommodate a huge number of guests but it is very comfortable. Every room has its own Jacuzzi for you to enjoy when you come back after a long day in the cold and every guest also receives a complimentary breakfast. Beaver Creek offers a massive 1625 acres of sizable area and a vertical drop of 4049 feet.

There are, at present no expert runs at Beaver Creek but there of the total 146 runs 34% are for beginners, 39% for intermediate skiers and 27% advanced runs. There are also thirteen ski lifts in the Beaver Creek Ski Resort and the resort offers some of the best skiing in this part of Colorado . When the milder weather comes then the ski resort also serves as a golf resort, so there is bound to be something to suit everyone. James Smith
