Located in Kimberley, Markdale, Beaver Valley ski club is just north of Flesherton tucked in the mountains and valleys of central Ontario’s heaviest snowbelt area. This place is about 2 hours away from Toronto.
The vertical is about 155 meters and there are over 20 runs rated Beginners – 20%, Intermediate – 50%, Advanced – 20% and Expert – 10%. There are six chair lifts including 1 Quad, 2 Triple chairs, 2 doubles and 1 magic carpet for an uphill capacity of 8,500 people per hour.
Over 12 km of cross-country trails are available for skiers who wish to enjoy the untouched wilderness and bond with nature at its most immaculate condition. The type of runs range from wide open runs for beginners, glade runs, scenic runs and the steepest, groomed run called “The Avalanche”.
Other highlights here include an extensive snow school, competitive racing programs, state of the art of Snowmaking and a dedicated group of Canadian Ski Patrollers.
