Located in Tasmania, Ben Lomond National Park is the location of the island’s second highest peak, Legges Tor. The road leading to this peak has the highest altitude in Tasmania when it reaches 1,572 metres (5,147 ft). The alpine village of Ben Lomond is located in the Ben Lomond National Park about 50 km south of the city of Launceston.
The best way to get to Tasmania is by air from Australian cities which fly to Launceston or Hobart. Visitors may then drive to the ski area which takes about 2.5 hours from Launceston or 3.5 hours from Hobart.There are 7 lifts in this ski mountain including 4 Poma lifts and 3 T-bars. There are 8 trails spread over 99 acres of mountain landscape and rated Beginners – 40%, Intermediate – 50% and Advanced – 10%.

Ben Lomond Ski Resort runs offer outstanding skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing facilities. Accommodations may be arranged at the Ben Lomond Creek Inn, Tasmania’s highest hotel, which is open all season. There is also a restaurant on the Mountain called the Creek Inn Restaurant.
Activities here include skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing and cross-country skiing.
