Berkshire East Ski Resort is a small, family oriented resort. It has 400 skiable acres and 45 trails. 30% of the trails are beginner. The remaining 70% are divided equally between intermediate and advanced runs.
There are no expert trails at Berkshire East. Six lifts service the area. The resort has 100% snow making capabilities to keep all trails open even without fresh snow.
Snow tubing is available on site. The tubing hill is 450 feet long. It is serviced by a moving ground lift. Riders must be taller than 42 inches.

Berkshire East is typical old style, classic, New England skiing. There are no frills and the snowmaking is pretty minimal. That doesn't mean this is not the place to go because it is great.
There are no lines even though the lifts are rather slow and not high tech. The staff is great and fun to engage in conversation. I would recommend Breckenridge to all levels of skiers and especially those with families. Roseann Lahey
