The trails are broken down into six that are appropriate for beginners, eight have been created for intermediate enthusiasts and six are completely advanced runs. The longest run at Big Horn Ski Resort is 1 ½ miles of pure splendor. The average snowfall is 160 inches annually and the snowmaking capabilities will blanket 55 percent of the runs with fresh snow. Cliff skiing is also available for those that tire of groomed runs.
The terrain park has already been nationally recognized as one of the best in the area. It has tabletops, ramps, jibs, rails, boxes and so much more, including a super pipe. Trails are available for the sportsmen that like to snowshoe. There are snowmobiles that are available for hire at reasonable rates. Fifteen kilometers of cross country skiing trails will keep those enthusiasts busy.
There are plenty of lodging options in Buffalo. Bed and breakfasts, campgrounds and motels are readily available near to the Big Horn Ski Resort. Restaurants that will suit everyone’s needs are scattered throughout the area. There are tons of lounges, bars, pool halls and nightclubs that will keep skiers and boarders busy into the wee morning hours.
