Big Sky Ski Resort is an incredibly large resort located in beautiful Big Sky, Montana. There are 3,812 skiable acres with 4,350 feet of vertical drop. There are 150 named trails and when put end to end cover 85 miles in trail lengths. 30 runs have been created for beginners. There are 60 trails for those of intermediate level of ability. Advanced skiers and boarders can hone their skills on 39 runs. At Big Sky Ski Resort, 21 trails have been dedicated to expert snow enthusiasts.
The resort’s ski area covers three individual mountains. The longest run at Big Sky Ski Resort is a whopping 6 miles and runs from Liberty Bowl to Mountain Mall. There are 16 chair lifts and 5 surface lifts which move 23,000 people per hour. Lift lines are non-existent at Big Sky.

There are slews of other activities available as well. Zip line and twin zip line rides, bungee trampoline rides, a climbing wall, scenic lift rides and a driving range. These activities are available at an additional but the costs are reasonable.
Lodging and dining are available slope side or in town. The options are endless for both. Après ski is wonderful in Big Sky. There are over 20 nightclubs and bars from which to choose. Many of which have live entertainment. You will certainly not get bored at Big Sky Ski Resort.
