The Black Mountain Ski Area is located at Jackson, NH. This is a family owned ski resort and you can tell the difference with no long lift lines, and no massive crowds you would have at some of the other slopes. They offer a variety of slopes and even have horseback riding. They even offer a ski package where a 90 minute lesson is part of the package for free. They offer day care and have a variety of ski schools and lessons, including racing. They are able to manufacture snow for 98% of their terrain and offer 44 trails and glades for your pleasure. You will also find plenty of places to stay with lots of things to do. Horse drawn sleighs are something you will see on a regular basis.
