The Blue Hills Ski Area has 13 trails served by 4 lifts.
They are capable of making 80% of their snow and have 50% of the terrain lighted for night skiing. They have 5 green runs, 5 blue runs, and 3 black runs, providing enough variety for anybody to enjoy.
They have 9 lifts for the whole area and a freestyle area for those enthusiasts.
They also have a kids area specially designed for their enjoyment. They offer rentals skis for anybody who needs them, even for the whole season.
They also offer a variety of lessons for beginners to include private lessons at a reasonable price. Another feature they offer is a vacation camp during the weeks of December and February school breaks.
Although Blue Hills has only twelve trails, three are black. Their freestyle area is incredible. It has jumps, boxes and both half and quarter pipes as well as a variety of other fun things.My sons enjoyed themselves tremendously here. Being teenagers, they became fast friends with local teenagers who were on the high school ski team. Skier and staff alike were all kind and courteous. This is a lovely ski area that is perfectly suited for teenagers that usually complain there is no one their age at the ski area. Roseann Lahey
