Blue Mountain Resort is the largest mountain resort in the province of Ontario , Canada , in the winter the resort offers the best skiing and snowboarding in the province. The resort offers recreational holidays all the year round and is only just over an hour's drive from Toronto . Guests can choose one of the seven hundred suites on offer or find alternative accommodation nearby. You can eat all of your meals at the Pottery dining room or if what you really want is some south-western fare then you can try the Monterra Bar and Grill.

The area has an annual snowfall of 110 inches and a skiable area of 251 acres with a vertical drop of 720 feet. The terrain allows for both Alpine skiing and snowboarding, you can even go night skiing if you wish. There are twelve lifts, including surface and chair lifts, including a new, novice chairlift, we also have a new grooming vehicle that will make skiing conditions better than ever. The resort has 34 trails seventeen percent of which are graded as easy, 42% more difficult and the remaining 41% more difficult still.

Inter vacations usually run from December through to April. The resort also offers a range of activities during the summer months including golf, tennis, mountain biking and hiking. Mountain bikers can take their bikes up to the top of the mountain on the chairlift and then jump on their own or a rented bike ready for the descent down the mountain. You can go hiking and/or biking along the Georgian trail, also in the summer months, resort guests can enjoy the resort's private, sandy beach on the bay.
