Although Bogus Basin is a rather large ski area, it is a very friendly and family oriented resort. There are 2,600 skiable acres for skiing during daylight hours and 165 acres that stay open until 9PM every day for night skiing.
There are 53 perfectly groomed trails. 22 percent of the runs are designated as easy for beginner skiers and boarders. Intermediate snow enthusiasts are able to use 45 percent of the terrain. The remaining 33 percent of the trails have been determined for use by advanced skiers and riders only. The longest groomed run is one and one half miles of pure perfection. There are nine lifts that service the resort. Almost 10,000 people can be moved about the mountain per hour at Bogus Basin.
Cross country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts will enjoy the 37 kilometers of trails dedicated solely to them. The trails are of various levels of difficulty. Snow tubing is a popular at Bogus Basin. The 800 feet of tubing hill also has a lift to bring tubers back up the mountain quickly. There are three terrain parks with difficulty levels to suit everyone. They have a variety of elements such as rails, tabletops, boxes and the like.

Dining and lodging options are plentiful in town. There are several bars in the area for après ski fun.
