Bottineau Winter Park is called the “Jewel above the Prairie”. This family friendly resort is located in North Dakota’s Turtle Mountains. The snow making capability at Bottineau Winter Park is an incredible 100 percent of the area. This park has something for everybody. There are 40 skiable acres and a 250 foot vertical drop. There are five lifts covering nine trails and there is also off piste and night skiing. Two runs are designated for beginner skiers and boarders. There are three trails for intermediate level enthusiasts. Three runs are for advanced and there is one trail that is strictly for expert level skiers and riders.
The tube park is very popular with those that do not ski or board but still want to have fun in the snow. There is a terrain park with a wide variety of elements that will surely keep enthusiasts busy and happy.
Lodging is available in nearby but there are no facilities at the park. There are numerous options which include bed and breakfasts, small motels and hostels. Dining options are many in the town of Bottineau. There are fast food places, pizzerias, sub shops, diners and full service restaurants in the vicinity. Après ski activities are many as there are several bars and nightclubs within a reasonable driving distance.
