The Boyne Highlands Resort is a very popular facility located in Harbor Springs, Michigan. There are 430 skiable acres and a vertical drop of over 550 feet. The resort’s ability to make snow is nearly 100 percent. Thirty-seven percent of the trails are rated for beginners, twenty-nine percent are appropriate for intermediates, thirty-one percent are advanced level runs and three percent are absolutely available only for expert skiers and riders. The longest run at Boyne Highlands Resort is 1.2 miles. Eight lifts service the area.
The terrain park is highly acclaimed by snowboarders. There are numerous elements at the park to keep all ability levels happy. There is also a five hundred foot halfpipe that riders enjoy.
There are two lodging options on the slopes. Both are within walking distance of the base lodge. Many more motels are available in town so there are certainly places from which to choose.
Restaurants are plentiful in the area. There are various fast food joints, diners and full service restaurants scattered throughout the area. The après ski options are many, both in town and on the slopes. The Main Lodge has a restaurant and a very popular après ski lounge.
