The Brian Head ski area is located at Brian Head, UT. They offer 65 trails with 8 lifts serving them. They have 4 terrain parks along with those trails. They also have a tubing area with is the only lift served tubing park in the area.
Brian Head Ski Resort is a family friendly area and has the highest base elevation in all of Utah. It always has incredible snow conditions and it also has the driest snow on the continent of North America. The snow’s moisture content is right at four percent! There is an average of four hundred inches of perfect powder annually.
There are eight lifts servicing 650 skiable acres of mountain. The 65 trails are designated as 35 percent for beginners, 35 percent for intermediate, 20 percent for advanced level skiers and boarders and 10 percent are strictly for expert rated enthusiasts
The four terrain parks will keep everyone occupied and happy. Brian Head Ski Resort also has a snow tubing park. The park has six lanes and a lift to make the trip uphill easier.

Lodging is plentiful in the area. Rental condos are available right across the road from Brian Head’s parking lot. The condos are reasonably priced and also offer ski and stay packages which also make for great deals. Motels and cabins are also available in the area.
The food on the mountain basically consists of typical ski fair however, they also serve deli sandwiches. Not many resorts have delis where you can get freshly made sandwiches with quality lunch meat.
The après ski options are non-existent on the mountain. Traveling into town will provide those looking for some fun nightlife with a couple of bars. There are also some full service restaurants and sports bars.
On our family holiday, the powder was light and fluffy. The trails were great with a wide variety of terrain. The restaurant and bar at the lodge were very good and even had a live band on Saturday night. Everybody was super friendly there. We will definitely go back to Brian Head this year! Roseann Lahey
