Cavalese is one of the biggest tourist centers in the Val di Fiemme. It is a great base for skiers who are able to access the resort’s own large ski area on Alpe Cermis. Tourists can have access to 127 ski trails. Skiing in the Cavalese area itself means 70 kilometers of ski runs and a ski lift pass that allows tourists to ski or snowboard in the other Val di Fiemme tourist resorts (Alpe Cermis, Alpe Lusia, Alpe di Pampeago and others). The ski resort is able to augment natural snow. This happens on 24 killometers of ski runs with only 40 snow cannons. The ski lift capacity consists of 10 ski lifts that are capable to uplift 12470 skiers or snowboarders per hour. In the resort there are popular pubs, such as Canton and the Polansky.
