Cerro Castor is Argentina’s newest ski resort and the most southernmost due to its location near Tierra del Fuego. With a vertical drop of 775 metres there are 24 ski runs of varying abilities and 20km of off piste terrain.
Cerro Castor is renowned for the Nordic or cross country skiing with trails through forests that can also be accomplished with snow shoes. The resort has two magic carpet ski lifts and three other lifts servicing the runs. A new snowpark caters for snowboarding and the ski school is able to provide lessons to skiers and snowboarders alike. With stunning scenery and modern facilities this is a beautiful place to experience the powder snow.
