Cerro Mirador is one of the few resorts in Chile where you can ski looking out to sea. Located 8km west of Punta Arenas City Cerro Mirador lies in the Magallanes National Reserve. There are 11 ski runs in the Mount Fenton area and a selection of pistes for all levels, particularly intermediate skiers. A teleski and a double chair lift serve the slopes and the resort also has ski hire and a ski school. Other activities in the area include viewing the nearby Magellan Straits and Tierra del Fuego, snow shoeing, and snowmobile trips.
