If it’s long leisurely ski runs you like then Cervinia is your ideal ski destination. Located on the Italian side of the Matterhorn. However, Cervinia has mainly treeless high slopes making poor visibility if the weather is bad and lifts tend to close frequently for this reason.
There is very little to amuse if you are not skiing, however the mountain restaurants are good. Snow Boarders will be thrilled with the Indian Terrain Park. It has the reputation of being on eof Italy’s best Terrain parks, it has some huge jumps. However, outside of this park there is little for the snowboarders to get excited about.
