Not the conventional ski resort, Challenge Mountain Ski Resort is designed specifically for the snow enthusiasts that are physically or mentally handicapped. The volunteers there are trained to handle all of their guests’ special needs.
This is a not for profit resort. All handicapped guests are provided with alternative skiing by certified volunteers. These services are provided completely free of charge.
Challenge Mountain Ski Resort is about 160 acres. This area was founded so that those that cannot ski conventionally can still experience the thrill of a mountain. They have numerous unconventional means to make this happen for handicapped snow lovers.
