Champery is located just south of Lake Geneva and is an access point to the famous and huge Portes du Soleil ski fields. From here you can access 650km of pistes, with 206 lifts and gondolas, 243 km of cross country skiing, seven fun parks, three half pipes all spread over two countries.
All this for one lift pass. Champery has the best of both worlds, surrounded by Swiss and French Alps. All this provides the village with excellent scenery and old world charm.
Snow is usually good with the French side usually better than the sunny Swiss side.
Champery offers good value accommodation, and god eating.
