This ski club is in the hills created by a glacier that started retreating almost 12,000 years ago. This winter wonderland covers 165 acres of ski and snowboard terrain filled with majestic mountains and panoramic vistas. Run by a not-for-profit organization, this ski hill is minutes away from Southern Ontario’s Highway 401 in Toronto and central to Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph.
The slope is rated Beginner – 4, Intermediate – 5 and Difficult – 5. The average annual snowfall here is 159.5 cm (62.8 inches) and snowmaking is 100% of the area.
Visitors can stay in many of the hotels and motels of Chicopee. Events here include Ski down Wednesdays, Chill Freestyle Series and Ski Tele-mark Clinic.
