The rental shop is fully stocked with top quality equipment and the ski school is highly recommended by guests. The instructors stress safety, especially when teaching children about skiing and riding.
There are 21 trails at Christie Mountain Ski Resort. They are serviced by 5 lifts. Beginners have access to 9 trails and those with intermediate skills have 5 runs, one of which is a glade run. There are 5 trails for use by advanced enthusiasts and 2 double black diamond trails for expert skiers and riders. Telemark skiing is also available. Night skiing is popular and open on all 21 trails.
Christie Mountain Ski Resort’s 4 terrain parks keep those who freestyle happy. There are numerous elements to thrill and challenge all levels of enthusiasts.
The lodge offers minimal fare consisting of soup, sandwiches and appetizers. There is a full service bar there. Picnic tables are available for those that wish to bring their own meals. Fast food joints, delis and full service restaurants are nearby in town.
Quaint cabins are available for rent on the mountain. There are bed and breakfasts and motels within driving distance. The prices vary according to quality and amenities.
The après ski crowd will enjoy the many bars in town. There are also pool halls, a movie theater and a shopping mall close to the resort.
