Christmas Mountain Village is a time share ski and golf resort located in beautiful Wisconsin. It is a very family oriented area and its prices reflect it. All rates are very affordable and they provide free ski lessons at 6PM daily. The charges for lessons at other times are inexpensive.
There are 40 skiable acres at Christmas Mountain Village. They average about 40 inches of snowfall per year but they have top of the line snow making equipment which can cover the entire area with fresh snow. There are 10 trails on the mountain. Four runs are strictly for the use of beginners. There are four more trails that are perfectly suitable for intermediate skiers and riders. The remaining two trails are dedicated to those with a lot of experience and are advanced snow enthusiasts. The lifts service the area and all trails are available for night skiing.
The terrain park is small but has enough elements to keep all freestyle enthusiasts happy for a while. There are 10 kilometers of trail open to cross country skiers. The snow tube park is quite popular with those that do not wish to brave the hill on skis or snowboards.
Lodging for those who are not time share members or those that do not wish to rent units at Christmas Mountain Village is available nearby. There are private mountain cabins that can be rented, short or long term. Many quaint bed and breakfasts are in the area and offer packages to sweeten the deal. Motels are not far from the Village and prices vary with quality and amenities.
Dining options are plentiful in town. There are fast food places, sandwich shops, diners and full service restaurants. On the mountain, the cabins have kitchens so guests are expected to cook for themselves.
All après ski fun happens in town. There are many options. Bars and nightclubs are within driving distance and most have entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights.
