Cloudmont Ski and Golf Resort is a tiny little resort that is big on hospitality. The staff prides itself of their friendliness and ability to help guests with whatever they need to make their stay fun. There are 10 skiable acres and a vertical drop of 150 feet.
There are only two trails at Cloudmont Ski Resort being serviced by two pony lifts. One is dedicated solely to new beginners in the sports of skiing and snowboarding. The other is for those with a bit more skill; it is dedicated to intermediate level enthusiasts. Both slopes are 1,000 feet long and are available for night skiing. There is a limit of 275 people on the ski area.
The lodging at the Cloudmont Ski Resort is reasonably priced. The slope side chalets are comfortable and roomy. They have their own kitchens, which cuts down on the cost of meal purchases. Motels are also located nearby.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area. The range from fast food places to full service dining facilities. There are also many sandwich shops.
The après ski fun is limited to the few bars in the area. Most at least have pool tables, darts and pinball machines. A couple of the pubs have live entertainment of the weekends, which always makes things more fun.
