Copper Mountain is a purpose built resort, only small in size but the slopes are considered to be some of Colorado’s best. Copper Mountain has three bases; all are small but have their own facilities, such as eateries and accommodation. A free shuttle bus links the three which makes it convenient for skiers.
Black runs are plentiful at Copper Mountain, %55 in all, although not as steep as some, but can be tricky. Intermediates and beginners make up the rest. The Terrain parks are good, Catalyst caters to all levels and the kids will love Kidz Park.
Eating on the slopes is not good, but the villages have plenty of choices. Accommodation is limited as well, not a lot in the hotel line, but the Condos seem to be the way to go.
