Located on the south east side of the Lonquimay Volcano the ski resort of Corralco is found at 4592 feet above sea level amidst forests of monkey puzzle trees. Its wilderness location is one of the attractions of skiing at Corralco.
This resort has in excess of 2400 acres of trails for downhill and cross country skiers. Three ski lifts serve Corralco and there is an active ski school. Accommodation can be found in nearby Temuco.
Activities in the area include snow shoeing, visiting nearby volcanoes such as Telhuaca and Lonquimay, and visiting the town of Temuco.
