Though small in size, Crystal Ridge Ski Hill is big on charm. This area is very popular with local residents. This is a family friendly ski hill with a vertical drop of 275 feet. There are 75 skiable acres and they are patrolled by the National Ski Patrol. Off trail skiing is not permitted.
There are eight runs available for snow fun at Crystal Ridge Ski Hill. Three of the runs are for the use of only beginner level skiers and riders. There is one trail for those with intermediate skills. Four of the trails are strictly for high level, advanced snow enthusiasts. Night skiing is available every evening. There are two chairlifts and one tow rope servicing the ski hill.
Lodging is available in the town of Franklin. There are a few small motels and bed and breakfasts. The rates for motel rooms are very reasonable.
Restaurants are plentiful. There are fast food joints, delis and full service facilities. Each has their own style of cuisine so there is something to suit everyone’s taste.
The après ski fun is limited to the lodge bar. Because the ski hill is opened until 10PM, the bar is always crowded with skiers, riders and those that just stopped by for a good time.
