Located in the Taurus Mountains from which the Euphrates and Tigris descend into Iraq, the Davras ski resort is about 1 ½ hours drive away from the Antalya International Airport or a shorter drive from Isparta’s Suleyman Demirel Airport. The tallest peak in this resort is 2,637 metres and the highest skiing altitude is about 2,250 metres. For accommodations, there is a hotel at the ski site which was built at an altitude of 1,650 metres. Visitors can enjoy beautiful views of Lake Egirdir from the slopes.
The skiing season begins in December and ends in April. The average snowfall here ranges from 50 cm to 250 cm. There is no avalanche risk in Davras Ski area.
Davras ski area is spread out over 440 hectares of picture perfect landscape. The altitude of this mountain is about 2000 metres and the vertical drop is 287 metres.
There are many tracks in this resort totalling about 1,155 metres with each track averaging a length of 7 km. There are five lifts including two baby lifts which deliver an uphill capacity of more than 3500 persons per hour.
Activities here include Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski touring, snowboarding, tele-mark, cross country skiing and mountaineering.
