There are 500 feet of vertical drop on the 300 acres of skiable terrain at Devil’s Head Resort. There are thirty trails that are steep, wide and long. Thirty percent are strictly for the use of beginners and forty percent are dedicated to those with intermediate level skills. The remaining thirty percent are black diamond or double black diamond trails. The longest run is a mile and a half long. There are 12 lifts to move people quickly up the mountain. The resort has 100 percent snowmaking capabilities so fresh snow is always available.
Lodging on the mountain is within walking distance of the slopes. It is surprisingly affordable and the amenities are plentiful. Rooms either have a view of the slopes or a poolside view.
