Diamond Peak, Incline Village, Nevada

Diamond Peak has a vertical drop of 1840 feet. With 655 skiable acres, the longest run is 2.5 miles. There are 30 trails with 18% beginner, 46% intermediate and 36% advanced runs. Six lifts service the mountain.

The terrain park has features for all abilities of skiers and riders. There are loads of table tops, boxes and rails as well as other fun features.

There have been many new upgrades added for the 2010/2011 winter season.

Lodging and dining are available nearby. Après ski activities are abundant in town.

This is a perfect resort for new beginner skiers. I was on a business trip in the area and a colleague asked me about skiing. I just had to take her out to learn.

Diamond Peak is truly a haven for both children and adults that are new to the sport. The people are relaxed and helpful. As someone that skis expert slopes, I played on the beginner ones here and thought the views were phenomenal.
