Located in the gorgeous Norrbottons region of northern Sweden is the Dundret ski resort. New to its position as a skiing destination, Dundret is becoming increasingly popular amongst ski enthusiasts who want some quiet, serious skiing opportunities through stunning scenery and fresh mountain air. At an altitude of 823m, Dundret features a regular annual snowfall and a ski season window of December till April.
Amongst the facilities at Dundret are 11km worth of slopes, comprising of two green runs, two blue runs, three red runs and three black runs, making Dundret adequately suited to skiers of various ability levels. The slopes are accessed by six surface lifts with a vertical descent of 823m. Dundret also offers the skier 100km of cross-country terrain through wooded areas and mountainside. The local population of the area are very hospitable and friendly with tourists and there are a number of accommodation choices to suit individual tastes and budgets.
