Eaton Mountain located in Skowhegan Maine is a small skiing area ideal for family outings. It has 6 trails for experts, 7 for intermediates and 5 for beginners in addition to a rope tow and a double chairlift. With more than 50 % of night skiing and 50 % of snowmaking skiing here becomes very exciting. Its tubing hills, Terrain Park and its vertical drop at 190 m is what draws people to this region.
This mountain region was purchased by the Beers in November 2008, but with hardly any time to make amends they decided to close down Eaton Mountain during the 2008-09 skiing season.
Eaton Mountain is supposed to open during the fall of winter this year. It has plenty to offer from Fox and Fisher which included ledges, glades and steeps for experts to Badger and Fawn which is especially known for its gentle rolling trails.
