The ski resort of El Colorado-Farellones is located just 39km from Santiago. This resort when combined with the two ski villages of La Parva and Valle Nevada is Chile’s biggest ski centre.
At 3333m altitude this resort receives an average 5m snow annually. The centre has 70 ski runs, half of which are suitable for beginners and over 40km of ski area.
El Colorado-Farellones has 18 ski lifts including chair lifts and some specifically for children. This is a well developed resort with several hotels, a ski school, ski rental, and snowboarding facilities.
