Elmadag is the name of a town in Ankara Province of Turkey. The nearest airport is Ankara, about 30 minutes drive from the ski hill.
This ski resort has two lifts including 1 chair lift and 1 surface lift. The summit of the mountain is at 1980 metres above sea level. The vertical here is 155 metres (509 ft). The T-bar goes over 548 metres distance with a run that is at an easy/medium level.
Accommodations may be arranged at the fully equipped hotel on the premises. This hotel has a good swimming pool and a restaurant. The ski hill also has a lodge offering reasonable housing and 130 chalets.
The slopes here are completely devoted to beginners. There are no steep slopes for advanced skiers. Most of the time, only one hill and lift are in operation. There is a steep slope without any obstacles that expert skiers may use at their own risk.
This ski hill has two restaurants on site. It is a good idea to check out the snowfall before visiting this ski hill as the skiing slopes depend on fresh snow. Families come to this ski hill to enjoy the mountain air and maybe to sit by the slopes for a picnic.
Due to the erratic snowfall, the skiing season is limited to three months a year or less. The snow averages 30 – 60 cm during the months of January, February and March. Après ski activities include hiking and horse-riding as well as trips to the neighbouring towns to view the Karagol Lake, Golbasi Lake and the picturesque of Incek.
