This HUGE ski area is located above the township of Ouyoune El Simane in the Kfardebian region of Mount Lebanon. The elevation here is about 2465 metres above sea level. Accommodations are available in Faraya which includes chalets, apartments, hotels, etc. The ski area is reachable by international visitor via the Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport.
The ski season is almost four months long. Activities here include skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and other fun in the snow activities.
The highest point of the resort is 2,463 metres and it can be reached by a chair lift which offers mind-blowing views of the Bekaa valley, Mount Hermon, Laqlouq and the Cedars as well as the Mediterranean. Visitors can also enjoy the ruins of a Phoenician temple, a Roman tower and a spectacular 30 metre natural bridge of Kfardebian shaped by water and wind erosion.
Many competitions are held here and night skiing is offered on certain days.
