Located in Upper Austria Feuerkogel is a family friendly park that has winter activities and accommodations for all ages and ability levels. The winter ski season usually runs from mid December to the beginning of April providing months of winter time enjoyment.
Accommodations
Lodging choices are abundant in the Feuerkogel area. One of the most popular choices is Haus Strutzenberger. Haus Strutzenberger offers easy access to skiing, and are self catering apartments. Each unit offers a kitchen area with all major appliances, lounge and dining area with satellite TV, DVD player, and broadband internet
Tracks/Slopes
Feuerkogel offers an 11 km ski area. There are 4 kilometers of easy runs, 5 kilometers of medium runs, and 1 area of difficult runs. Skiing runs are open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Other Activities
Take a break from the slopes and enjoy one of the 5 restaurants. If you want indoor activities there is a public indoor swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center. There are also tennis courts and even a movie theater. For the children there is a child piste, lift, magic carpet ride, and child care.
