The ski resort of Fjatervalen is situated in the northern part of Dalecarlia Province in Sweden. The resort is considered to be the perfect destination for a family skiing holiday, with child-friendly slopes, activities and ski instructors. With a top altitude of 1002m, the area has regular snowfall each year granting a ski season between December till April.
There are eighteen slopes in total, four of those being green runs, five black runs, four red runs and five black runs, giving a full spectrum of skill levels opportunities to challenge themselves.
Fjatervalen also has a number of amenities for your holiday, such as a restaurant offering delicious local food, a ski shop for all of your kit, ski hire, a ski school to learn some new tricks and a country shop for bits and pieces you may need for you self-catering accommodation.
